The Last Morning of this Autumn

As the lawn looked as shaggy as my untrimmed beard
I stepped out to the garden to mow the lawn
Instead, started musing at the Autumn leaves

Dear Autumn leaves,
I know it is known to you
that your Autumn will shake its'hands with Winter tonight
I bow my head
To your forbearance
To your gracefulness
To your spirit
As I would to the fearless, brave and proud shoulder in the battlefield
Who is about to die with a few drops of breaths left
Yet, remains as calm as the morning dew.

OR

Tell me
if it is an outward calm
Floating on your colorful petals
Like a Duck presents it's calm on the surface
While frantically paddling underneath

Dear Autumn Leaves,
Don't worry!
Even if it's true
That makes us two.
